Born in the mining village of Godrergraig in 1941, Mike is a prolific artist who paints from his studio in the village of Pontardawe in the Swansea Valley.
Mike takes inspiration from the Welsh culture in which he grew up and is heavily influenced by the strength and spirit of the people and places of the valley which provide his subject matter.

Mike exhibits widely across Wales and his work is held in private collections throughout the world.
