Meirion Jones was born in Cardigan in 1966, and studied at the Dyfed College of Art in the mid 1980's. His paintings involve the landscape and seascape of West Wales, as well as work inspired by time spent in Latin America. His figurative work tends to look at the ironic side of life.
He often exhibits with his father Aneurin Jones.
