Gareth Parry, born in 1951 comes from a family of quarrymen in Blaenau Ffestiniog, His work is about the land and people of Wales - . . In 2001 he had a major exhibition at the National Library of Wales where they purchased several paintings for the national collection, and in 2006 he was elected to the Royal Cambrian Academy.
His work is represented in Galleries across Wales and the Thackeray Gallery London.
