Born in 1923 and spent his childhood in the west of Scotland. He studied painting under James Wright RSW at Gaelochhead. Qualifying as a dentist in Glasgow he remained in that profession until the age of forty when he left to become a fulltime painter. He lives and works in Gwynedd. It was with sadness that Tegfryn heard of the death of Donald McIntyre, one of the gallery's most popular artist. Don was always a delight to deal with and he will be sorely missed. Tuesday 13th January.
